2023一貫道總會《台灣與梵蒂岡交流新篇章》

2023年9月4日，蔡總統國策顧問湯文萬與台灣一貫道總會理事長王寶宗率領一貫道、講師代表團一行22人來訪教廷梵蒂岡。

首度訪談 雙方交流融洽
在使館和教廷的合作下，一貫道總會代表團首次與宗教對話部進行了建設性對話。秘書長Indunil Kankamalage蒙席和副秘書長Paolin Kubuya神父，代表部長Cardinal Miguel Angel Ayuso表示歡迎。

肯定台灣 宗教多元包容
在會面中，秘書長肯定了台灣宗教的多元性和包容性。他也期待雙方在教義、信仰體系、慈善事業等領域進一步交流。

開創機緣 跨出重要一步
王理事長介紹了一貫道總會的歷史，並重點介紹了長期以來為許多重要的社會公益和救災項目做出的貢獻。他認為這次會議是為兩國定期交流與合作，創造機會的重要第一步。

A NEW CHAPTER OF EXCHANGES BETWEEN TAIWAN AND THE VATICAN UN UNOVO CAPITOLO DI SCAMBI TRA TAIWAN E IL VATICANO

On September 4, President Tsai’s National Policy Advisor Mr. Tang Wen-wan and the Chairman of Taiwan I-Kuan Tao Association (IKT) Mr. Wang Bao-tzong, led a 22-member delegation of Taoist ministers and lecturers to the Vatican.

With the collaboration between the Embassy and the Holy See, the IKT delegation engaged for the first time in a constructive dialogue with the Dicastery of Interreligious Dialogue. Secretary Msgr. Indunil Kankamalage and Under-Secretary Fr.  Paolin Kubuya welcomed the guests on behalf of the Prefect, Cardinal Miguel Angel Ayuso. During the encounter, the Secretary affirmed the diversity and inclusiveness of religions in Taiwan. He also looked forward to further exchanges in areas such as doc-trines, belief systems, and charity initiatives.

 Chairman Wang introduced the history of IKT and high-lighted its long-term contributions to many important social welfare and disaster relief projects. He considered the meeting an important first step to build opportunities for regular exchanges and cooperation.
