Potential Talents with High EQ:
Starting from the Heart

學界五年研究班的莘莘學子，7月1日下午齊聚在新加坡崇德佛院，參與了一年一度的合班。首先，崇德班班員以「向上的年輕力量」與「傳承永續」兩首善歌掀開序幕。在熱烈高昂的歌聲中，每一個人都能感受到現場的正能量與青春活力！

Starting off with the resounding singing of two energizing Tao songs, the Student Group from the Singapore Tao Community gathered at Chong De Cultural Building on 1 July 2023 for our annual Student Group Combined Class. With much enthusiasm and excitement, immense positive vibes were felt in the hall!

修辦道程分享 領眾希聖希賢

修辦道程以求道為起點，邁向成聖成賢為終點。陳少華點傳師慈悲以人生旅程和求學生涯作為前言，接著再以活佛老師慈悲批示的「修辦道程圖」與學生們分享修辦道的三線共構—天職、班程、十組。

進入班程是為了體認道之尊貴，進而學道、修道、辦道。天職是上天交付的職務，讓我們在道場有了愿的機會。十組運作是培育道場人才的搖籃，讓人人皆能發揮所長，使人人有事做，事事有人做，從中學習實踐、行功了愿、服務眾生，接引眾生踏上這座聖賢橋。

The Tao Cultivation & Propagation Roadmap
The path towards sainthood began from the day of Tao acquisition. Using life’s journey and students’ education path as a preface, Tao Initiator Tan Sau Wah shared the contents from the Tao Cultivation & Propagation Roadmap Holy Revelation.  Tao Initiator Tan emphasized the Three-Pronged Approach towards cultivation and propagation: Curriculum, Holy Roles, and the Ten Functional Groups. Attending classes helps us better understand Tao, cultivate Tao, and spread the gospel of Tao. Holy roles provide us with the opportunity to fulfil our vows. The Ten Functional Groups is the cradle from which talents develop in our Tao community. It allows everyone to shine their personal best, so that “every person has a task, and every task is tended to.” Everyone can learn through practice, fulfill their holy vows, serve others, and guide sentient beings onto this road to sainthood. 

從四面體模型 引導情緒管理

帶動講師讓班員進行一個簡單的心理測試，通過四面體模型「土、空氣、水以及火」自我認識，了解各元素的特徵。讓學生深入地了解自己，提升意識並保持客觀的思維。

有了意識才能夠對他人的情緒狀態予以適當的回應。有了客觀的思維才能夠更好地應對不同層面的人際關係。如此才能夠避免誤會的產生，培養良好的情緒管理，從而實踐活佛老師在「潛力人才」訓文裡，所批示的五大潛力之一「成熟的情緒管理」。

Knowing Oneself: Understanding Interpersonal Communication
Through team learning via the Tetra Model, our students got to know their personality traits through the representation of different elements: Earth, Air, Water, Fire. The purpose of understanding themselves and others is to provide awareness and openness to the needs of others. Having awareness promotes the appropriate response towards the emotions of others while openness allows one to develop coping mechanisms for interpersonal conflicts. Together, they enhance one’s ability to minimize any misunderstanding and to manage one’s emotions well. Practicing this mature management of emotions is to manifest one of the five potential strengths listed within Ji-Gong Living Buddha’s Potential Talents Holy Revelation. 

團隊遊戲闖關 合心攻克挑戰

誠如不休息菩薩慈示：「成功不是一個人，而是一個團隊要互補、互助、互讓。」班員以團隊遊戲過關斬將，學習如何與組員溝通與互動。每個關卡以不同的挑戰和難度，考驗了大家的溝通、創意和領導能力。所谓：「天下没有過不了的火焰山」，在團隊遊戲中，大家迎接挑戰，以和諧、合心、合作順利地闖關！

Team Activities: Working Together with Appropriate Interpersonal Relationship Management
As guided by Bu Xiu Xi Bodhisattva’s merciful teachings, success is not measured by an individual, but by a team that that complements, supports, and accommodates one another. Through team building games, students were given various challenges that tested their communication, creativity, and leadership qualities. The activities were deliberately designed so that everyone could work with people of different elements and apply interpersonal communication skills. With determination, the students embraced the challenges and overcame them with harmony, unity, and teamwork!

菩薩領航時代 使命永續道傳

感謝天恩師德、感謝各位點傳師慈悲、講師們以及學長姐的關懷與成全！一份天職、一份使命，新加坡道場學界的眾後學們在不休息菩薩時代，將繼續秉持著堅定的信念、懷著感恩與報恩的心，以團結的精神迎向未來，使命承擔、永續傳承！2023年新加坡道場學界研究班合班圓滿成功！

We are thankful to the grace of the Heavenly Mater and virtues of our Holy Teachers, the mercy of the Tao initiators, and the care and concern showered by speakers and beloved seniors. Our hearts are full of gratitude. With holy roles and missions in mind, we embark into the Bu Xiu Xi Bodhisattva Era. The Student Group of Singapore Tao Community will continue to hold a firm conviction, inherit the mission of Tao Propagation, and display the spirit of teamwork! The 2023 Singapore Tao Community Student Group Combined Class was a resounding success!
